2. Wiring and Electrical Connections

The ZenTRACK Power device uses a 3-wire harness. Each wire must be connected to the correct signal source in the vehicle.

Red

Constant Power (12/24V)

Connect to the vehicle's battery (always powered).

Black

Ground (GND/Negative)

Connect to a stable chassis ground or negative terminal.

Orange

Ignition / ACC

Connect to a circuit that receives power only when the vehicle is ON.

⚠ Important Installation Notes:

  • Ensure the fuse for the power source is functioning.

  • Do not leave exposed wire connections; always insulate properly.

  • Verify voltage levels (12V or 24V) before powering the device.

3. SIM Card Insertion

  1. Locate the rubber-sleeved port on the side of the device.

  2. Lift the cover to expose:

    • SIM Card slot

    • Micro-USB configuration port

  3. Insert the SIM card into its slot until it clicks firmly in place.

  4. Ensure correct SIM orientation and close the rubber cover to protect against dust/moisture.

4. Device Indicators

Once connected to power, the device will display LED indicators.

5. Mounting the Device

  • Secure the device using double-sided adhesive tape or mounting brackets.

  • Recommended placement: under the dashboard or a similar concealed area.

  • Ensure the top surface of the device is facing upwards for optimal GPS performance.

  • Avoid metal surfaces or areas with high electrical interference.
