Enable ZenCAM PLUS as a Gateway for ZenBEACON

ZenCAM PLUS integration as a gateway for ZenBEACON provides enhanced asset tracking capabilities within fleet operations. This configuration offers automatic connection and disconnection functionality, seamless integration for existing ZenCAM PLUS deployments, and one-time setup with automatic future beacon connectivity.

System Requirements: ZenCAM PLUS device required (ZenCAM LITE not compatible)

Method 1: ZenduONE Platform Configuration

Platform Setup Process

  1. Navigate to Assets Module (in the left navigation bar) on the ZenduONE platform

  2. Locate and select your ZenCAM PLUS device

  3. Access Settings tab and Click Edit in Device Settings section

  4. Enable Bluetooth Scanning functionality

Once enabled, all beacons within camera proximity will automatically establish connections for continuous asset monitoring.

Method 2: Direct Camera Settings Configuration

Part A: Camera Settings Access

Veyes Application Setup:

  1. Download Veyes app from App Store or Google Play Store

  2. Verify camera power status and SIM card insertion (insert SIM and repower camera if absent)

  3. Wait for indicator lights: Green Power and Green Wi-Fi for ADAS/LITE or red for ADP

  4. Connect to camera Wi-Fi network (003F, 00D2, or 00710 identifiers)

  5. Launch Veyes application while connected to camera WiFi

  6. Enter login credentials (contact support@zenduit.com or +1 (855) 936-3848 x 2 for credential access)

Part B: Bluetooth Configuration

Camera Bluetooth Activation (Reference video: https://www.loom.com/share/1932def13e0744d3a0a4857ca3ac8d21):

  1. Navigate to Config > Network > Bluetooth

  2. Check Bluetooth activation box

  3. Check first row configuration box

  4. Click right-side menu and input "BC:57:29" as MAC Address

    1. If you would like to whitelist particular beacons, you can input the MAC Address of your Beacon in the format BC:57:29:XX:XX:XX

  5. Confirm with "OK" and save configuration

  6. Verify "Connected" status display

Upon successful configuration, all beacons within camera proximity will automatically establish connections for comprehensive asset tracking.
