How fast should SMS and email exception alerts arrive?
Written By Vishal Singh
SMS and email exception alerts from ZenduONE are typically sent within one to two minutes of the exception being processed.
If alerts are arriving later than that, the cause is usually on the receiving end rather than in the platform. The common ones are a phone in airplane mode, poor signal where the recipient is, or a delivery delay at their mobile carrier.
If alerts are consistently slow for several recipients at once, or are not arriving at all, contact support with the date and time of an exception you expected an alert for. Support can compare the alert's send time against the time the exception was processed and tell you which side the delay is on.
