Moving a GO device to a new vehicle resets mileage and engine hours

When a Geotab GO device is removed from one vehicle and installed in another, after the old asset has been archived, the new vehicle does not inherit the previous vehicle's mileage or engine-hour history. The new asset starts counting from its own internal value, effectively zero.

After reassigning the device

Enter both of the following manually on the new asset:

1. The vehicle's current odometer reading.
2. The vehicle's current engine-hours reading.

This resumes accurate tracking from the correct starting point rather than from zero.
