Turning off a ZenCAM's in-cab alert sounds

A ZenCAM plays a sound in the cab when it detects a rule violation, for example an unbuckled seat belt or driver distraction.

These alert sounds cannot be turned off in ZenduONE. Contact support and they can:

• turn off all alert sounds on a device, or
• turn off the sound for a single rule, such as seat belt, while leaving the others on.

Be clear about what you want turned off

"Turn off the alerts" can mean two different things, and they are separate settings:

• Silence the alert sound only. The camera still detects events and records video as normal.
• Stop audio recording. The camera stops capturing sound in its recordings.
