How to Configure Email Notifications for Reports in MyGeotab

This article provides step-by-step instructions to set up email notifications for reports in MyGeotab.

Steps to Configure Email Notifications

  1. Access Report Views

    • From the MyGeotab main menu, navigate to:
      Reports > Report Setup > Report Views

  2. Find the Report

    • Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate the specific report you want to configure.

  3. Open the Report Settings

    • Click on the name of the report to open its configuration settings.

  4. Go to the Email Report Tab

    • Select the Email Report tab to access email configuration options.

  5. Enable Emailing

    • Set Email Options to Yes to enable emailing for the selected report.

  6. Choose Recipients

    • Recipient Groups: Select a predefined group of users to receive the report.

    • Individual Recipients: Click Add to enter specific email addresses of users.

    • Send Me the Report via Email: Toggle this option to Yes if you would like to receive a copy yourself.

  7. Configure Data and Schedule

    • Set the following options as per your requirements:

      • Data Range

      • Refresh Period

      • Next Report Production Date

  8. Save the Settings

    • Click Save to apply the email notification configuration to the report.

Notes

  • Reports will only be sent according to the configured schedule.

  • Ensure that recipientsโ€™ email addresses are correct and active.
