A new feature now allows users to automatically enable or disable camera channels when entering or exiting specific geofenced areas. This enhancement was introduced in response to customer requests for greater control over video recording at designated locations. Users can configure these settings for individual locations or by tags, ensuring that recordings only occur when required, such as inside client sites or restricted areas.
Automatically enable or disable camera channels based on geofence rules.
Supports configuration for single locations or by location tags/types.
Allows up to six channels to be controlled per rule.
Ensures recording happens only where it’s necessary or compliant.
Supports both “enter” and “exit” commands for flexible setup.
This feature enhances privacy, compliance, and operational control by ensuring video recording adheres to site-specific regulations or customer policies. It prevents unauthorized recording in restricted areas while maintaining footage where monitoring is essential. This automation not only simplifies management but also strengthens trust and compliance with clients’ privacy requirements.
