Introducing an enhancement to the Maintenance module that improves how the next service is calculated, making scheduling more accurate and flexible. The system continues to automatically calculate upcoming maintenance based on the vehicle’s latest odometer and engine hours. In addition, users can now manually enter the exact odometer, engine hours, or service date at the time a service is completed. This real completion data becomes the new baseline for future maintenance calculations, with the option to override it when greater accuracy is required.
Maintenance schedules are automatically recalculated using the vehicle’s latest odometer and engine hours
When a service is marked as completed, the system captures the current readings as the new baseline
Users can manually enter precise odometer, engine hours, or service date values at service completion
Manual entries can override automated data when vehicles are serviced earlier or recorded later
Updated maintenance schedules are saved immediately and visible in the Maintenance module
This update ensures more accurate maintenance planning across the fleet by aligning future service schedules with real-world service completion data. It reduces errors caused by delayed or early servicing, provides flexibility when automated data is unavailable or inaccurate, and gives fleet managers greater control while still benefiting from automation.
