Streamlined Service Request Management: Quick Service Request Closure & Reminder Management

We’ve made significant improvements to the Maintenance Module to make service request management easier and more efficient:

Quick Service Request Closure:

  • You no longer need to add a service request to a repair order to close it.

  • Simply select the option from the drop-down menu or the main table to mark it as Complete.

Service Reminders:

  • For reminder-driven service requests, you’ll see the next due date for the service.

  • For manual service requests, it will simply show as Completed.

Cancellation of Reminder Rules:

  • For one-time reminders, you can directly cancel them with a reason.

  • For ongoing reminder rules (based on metrics like pedometer or engine hours), you have the option to snooze the reminder or remove it entirely, ensuring no future triggers occur.

Why It Matters: These updates streamline the process of managing and closing service requests, especially for users not leveraging product assignments or time management features. The ability to quickly close requests and manage reminder rules gives you greater flexibility and efficiency in maintaining your fleet. With these enhancements, you can focus more on managing operations and less on administrative tasks.
