Introducing a new feature where, during a driver call, users now have the option to enable a snapshot streaming view. The system fetches images every 15–30 seconds, giving the caller a visual reference of the driver they are communicating with. The snapshot stream disappears when switching to a full live stream but can be re-enabled when navigating outside the live stream view.
Snapshot streaming during driver calls.
Images refresh every 15–30 seconds.
Provides a quick visual of the driver during calls.
Automatically switches off when live stream is active.
Can be re-enabled when moving outside of the live stream
This new feature enhances communication by providing visual confirmation of the driver during calls, which improves both safety and trust as the caller can verify who they are speaking with. The lightweight snapshot streaming option is useful when a full live stream isn’t necessary, allowing users to stay visually connected without consuming excessive data. By avoiding continuous streaming, it also helps save bandwidth while still delivering periodic visuals that support effective communication. Overall, this adds both convenience and efficiency to driver interactions, making the experience more reliable and resource-friendly.
